I shot my first ultimate fighting yesterday at The Blue Note in Columbia. This stuff makes the only other fighting I’ve seen, Golden Gloves boxing, seem like child’s play. Fighters mix and match fighting styles and pummel each other into submission.

I am working on a story for The Maneater about one Columbian’s (??) first fight. This, however, is just one of the random matches from later in the night.

The Blue Note was packed, with standing room only on the ground floor, even at tickets being sold at $25.
